Why Frosted Crystal Bowls From Ben and The Ohm Store?
Since January of 2024, Ben Carroll and Ohm Store Co-Founder Frank Mocerino have been working together to create a line of frosted crystal singing bowls that are made to the discerning specifications of a professional sound healer, and also perfectly suited for the enthusiastic new player.

The Series is anchored by the Signature 9 Bowl Set, which consists of a standard 7-bowl C Major scale: From C4 (14 inch) to C5 (high C, 8 inch), with the addition of the "High C" and the Binaural Pair "F"

The “Oopsie Policy” – While crystal bowls are significantly more breakable than Tibetan Bowls, we wanted to offer you the standard of care you expect from The Ohm Store. If you break one of your bowls within 18 months of purchase, we’ll send you a new one - on us ( you just help us with the shipping cost)

The bowls have been re-enginnered in shape and size, according to Ben’s deep experience with playing sets of bowls. We’ve ensured that the sizes are consistent with one another, and the bottom’s have been slightly flattened.

Perfect Pitch Bowls, means that we will select for bowls that are +/- 5 cents off the truest pure note, which is generally indistinguishable to the naked ear.

Ben Carroll is a world-renowned sound healer and master musician who has touched the lives of many with his profound work. With a deep understanding of the transformative power of sound and vibration, Ben has dedicated himself to helping others discover their inner potential and experience the profound healing effects of sacred sound. Formerly a Universal Recording Artist in the rock band Ra, Ben gracefully transitioned his career to serve the ascension of humanity during this time of awakening.

The difference between Metal and Crystal Singing Bowls
Frosted crystal singing bowls, in this case made from quartz, generate a clear and sustained tone, often described as bell-like and resonant.
The quartz structure allows for a single, pure tone (sine wave) with high amplitude and long sustain, ideal for creating an immersive, almost atmospheric experience in sound baths or larger sound healing sessions.
The sound from crystal bowls can be louder and more direct, with fewer overtones compared to metal, and they are known for sustaining a strong vibrational frequency over a prolonged period, facilitating continuous harmonic and melodic effects.
Metal singing bowls, typically made of handmade bronze, or brass, produce complex, multi-layered sounds with a variety of harmonics and rich overtones.
These bowls emit both fundamental frequencies and additional overtone frequencies, leading to a textured, multi-tonal effect.
Their sound is often softer and more intimate, well-suited for personal meditation as they can focus the mind gently back on the present moment. Because the production of these bowls cannot be “scaled up” like most commoditized items in our world, our supply will be limited and will run on “first come” basis.
